Background: Ms. Stephanie is a new addition to the Sunset team and she loves being here! She has been teaching for the past few years, and it's been her favorite job in the whole world! She loves working with kids and helping them learn and grow into their own musicianship. She believes that music is part of all of us and tries her best to cultivate a sense of joy with the craft in addition to developing essential skills in her students' musical toolbox.
Stephanie's musical background started with piano when she was a child growing up in New York. She's worked with a variety of private instructors, most notably one from Julliard, who trained her in classical piano. More recently, she's expanded her musical adventure to include guitar, drums, and voice of all styles and genres, and continues to learn and teach at multiple schools in the area.
Outside of music, Stephanie tutors K-12 math, science, and english, and enjoys yoga, kickboxing, and the Southern California weather.
